Abstract: The global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‑19) has had far‑reaching consequences on public health, and the associated sleep problems are prevalent. Sleep disorders related to COVID‑19 are associated with multiple factors. The article reviews the relevant literature and focuses on the inflammatory response after COVID‑19, the attack of SARS‑CoV‑2 on the central nervous system, and the effect of SARS‑CoV‑2 on neurotransmitters, in an effort to provide evidence for the prevention and treatment of sleep disorders related to SARS‑CoV‑2 infection.
