Abstract: Objective To evaluate the value of the flotrac./vigileo system applied to the patient s of high risk pregnancy-induced hypertension undergoing uterine-incision delivery . Methods Twenty-seven patients of high risk pregnancy-induced hypertension scheduled for uterine-incision delivery were selected. Mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR), cardiac output (CO), cardiac index (CI), stroke volume (SV), stroke volume variation (SVV), stroke volume index (SVI) were measured and recorded at 6 selected time points: preoperation, 5 min after anesthesia, the start of the operation, expulsion, cleaning the abdomen, the end of operation. Results Compared with preoperation, the hemodynamic indexes were on significante differences in other time points. Conclusion The flotrac/vigileo system monitoring can show the changes of cardiac function in time during operation, which is a safe , reliable monitoring device for hemodynamic monitoring in uterine-incision delivery surgery.
