Abstract: Anesthesiologists routinely manipulate the necks of our patients during endotracheal intubation and other airway management maneuvers. And it is a noteworthy problems for anesthesiologists that the operation has an influence on cervical motion especially on those whose cervical spine injury. I will start with a brief review of the anatomy of the normal Cspine and the movements that occur during routine management in tracheal intubation. And I will discuss surrounding the management of patient with cervical spine disease. This might give the reference for clinicians.
