The hysteria coma is a kind of pseudo-coma. It’s rare during anesthesia, and coma after recovery from anesthesia can be an emergency or accidental event. Hence identification of this event is very important. Our report described coma happened immediately after awaken from anesthesia in one case. She was diagnosed as pseudo-coma - hysteria coma. An anesthesiologist should have the ability of identification of each kind of comas. A differential diagnosis program should be initiated when coma occurs during anesthesia. Early diagnosis and treatment of such accidents has its significance for outcomes of patients and ease tension doctor-patient relationship.
