Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical effects and safety of dezocine combined with propofol for colonocopy. Methods Sixty outpatients were equally randomized into dezocine group(group A) and propofol group(group B) with thirty patients each. group A injected dezocine and propofol, and group B injected normal saline and propofol. The blood pressure, heart rate and pulse oxygen saturation were recorded before examination(T0), inserting colonocopy instantly(T1), reaching ileocecal junction(T2) and at the end of examination(T3). Propofol consumption, side effect, post-operative VAS scores, orientation recovery time and examination time were observed. Resuits The blood pressure and heart rate of group B were significantly lower than group A at T1 and T2(P<0.05) .The blood pressure of two groups at T1and T2 were lower than T0 , but group B was significantly lower than T0(P<0.01). Compared with T0, the pulse oxygen saturation of two groups were more lower(P<0.01), and the heart rate of group B was decreased at T1 and T2(P<0.01). The propofol consumption, orientation recovery time, VAS scores and movement response of group A were significantly lower than group B (P<0.01). Conclusion Dezocine combined with propofol was a good method for colonocopy, reducing propofol consumption, more equability and comfort.
