Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide. Multiple organ dysfunction and complications are relatively common in post-stroke patients. This article reports a case: the post-stroke patient with hemiplegia, complete aphasia, hypertension and atelectasis who scheduled for cholecystectomy because of acute purulent cholecystitis under epidural anesthesia.
