[Abstract] Background Pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a problem worthy of attention. Currently, ropivacaine has been widely applied to treatment of pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Objective This paper sums up literatures of effects of ropivacaine on pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Content The different use ways of ropivacaine on pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy is reviewed. Trend The future research should focus on to seek better combinations and joint methods to reduce postoperative analgesia of laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
