【Abstract】Background The myoclonus induced by etomidate has drawn more and more attention recently, but its mechanism is still unclear. Objective By reviewing the researches on the mechanisms and prevention of etomidate-induced myoclonus, we may provide some references for the prevention and solutions for myoclonus. Content Explain the mechanism of etomidate-induced myoclonus and summarize the preventions of myoclonus.
