Abstract: Pediatric sepsis is a severe life-threatening disease with high mortality and mobility. Anesthesia management of pediatric patients with sepsis raises challenge to anesthesiologists. Here we report a case of anesthesia management of a school-age child with sepsis and polyserositis. According to international consensus conference on pediatric sepsis criteria for pediatric systemic inflammatory response syndrome and sepsis diagnosis, a personalized anesthetic plan was made and successfully performed. New invasive monitor tools such as transthoracic echocardiography and tranesophageal echocardiogrhy plays vital roles in the anesthesia management of the case.
