Abstract: Background Multimodal analgesia has been the prime mode for pain after total knee arthroplasty(TKA) currently. Lower limb nerve block provides remarkable analgesia and reduces consumption of opioid. Objective Investigating the efficacy and safety of lower limbs nerve block after TKA to provide reference data in clinical practice. Content Lower limbs nerve block includes femoral nerve block, lumbar plexus block, sciatic nerve block and adductor canal block primarily. The efficacy and safety of it are significantly affected by different drugs and methods of administration. Trend Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve block provides remarkable analgesia, accelerating early rehabilitation and enhancing recovery for postoperative analgesia with less complications.
