Background　With the continuous development of medical technology, the focus of thoracic surgery gradually changed from the treatment level to the overall level of rehabilitation. The focus of surgical approach changed from thoracotomy gradually changed to minimally invasive thoracoscopic surgery.　Objective　This article reviews the relevant interventions to accelerate the rehabilitation of patients undergoing thoracic surgery and discusses the future direction of accelerated rehabilitation in thoracic surgery.　Content　Perioperative anesthesia management plays an important role in accelerating recovery, including preoperative improvement of lung function, reducing intraoperative lung injury in operation to reduce postoperative complications and so on.　Trend　In recent years, more and more comprehensive accelerated rehabilitation measures applied to clinical treatment to reduce perioperative lung injury. These measures promoted rehabilitation of patients with thoracic surgery.
