Reported that a male patient, 26 years old, who had undergone tonsillectomy and palatopharyngoplasty under general anesthesia. Rhabdomyolysis occurred after surgery and his blood creatine kinase rose to 160 times the upper limit of normal. Finally, the patient was discharged after treatment.
