[Abstract] Background ：In recent years，in order to reduce patient’s nervousness and pain, urethral catheter usually was inserted after general anesthesia. However, we found that more patients inserted urethral catheter after general anesthesia agitated significantly during recovery period and the incidence of postoperative complications was increased. Objective： To recognize the importance of CRBD，avoid or decrease the discomforts induced by it and improve recovery satisfaction. Content ：Review the possible mechanism and recent treatment of CRBD. Trend：The research of CRBD will improve the recovery quality of aneasthesia and provide effective treatment for discomfort of patients with urethral catheter in ward.
