Abstract: 【Abstract】 Background Cell salvage has been widely used in clinical, it can reduce allogeneic blood transfusion and prevent blood transfusion-related complications. However, cell salvage can not apply to every patient because of its potential risks. Objective The purpose of this review is to summarize recent studies about cell salvage and reveal its new progress. Content We aim to pointing out its new progress from four aspects, including indications and contraindications, quality, complications, cost and benefits. Trend For the technology been used better in clinical, further studies are needed to clarify its applied range, reverse outcome and effective solutions.
