Objective In this paper, we talk about how AMPA receptor and GABA receptor affect the antidepressant effects of ECT with low-dose ketamine and propofol. Content Our review includes the research of depression cure situations by ECT; The research of ketamine and propofol applyed in ECT; The mechanism of AMPA receptor and GABA receptor contained in depression cured with ECT.
