Abstract: Backgroud Autologous blood transfusion is widely used during the perioperative period. Both autologous blood and allogeneic blood transfusion affects the patient inflammatory response. Objective To compare the changes on the inflammatory factors after the two ways of transfusion and elaborate the impacts on the perioperative patients using the two kinds of transfusion techniques. Content Large amounts of inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin(IL)-2, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), etc. They are produced caused by the system′s inflammatory response during the allogeneic blood transfusion, may cause postoperative complications. Certain amounts of inflammatory cytokines are also produced during the process of recycling and filtering the autologous blood. Trend Compare and study the impacts on the system′s inflammatory response using the two ways of transfusion techniques in the orthopedics surgeries.
