It often occurs in a short time and the amount is huge , maternals may shock and even die in a short time if not given timely and appropriate treatment. Objective: By analyzing the interventional therapy in PPH, apply and promote new technology reasonably and reduce the incidence of PPH and its complications. Content : This is a short review of the transcatheter arterial embolization(TAE) and temporary arterial catheter balloon occlusion in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage in cesarean section.Trend: Interventional therapy has lots of advantages which is fast and efficient, with small trauma, retaining the uterine and mild complications. In recent years, it plays an important role in PPH. At the same time, application of noninvasive imaging technique in the interventional therapy has become a new direction of clinical research.
