【Abstract】Background With the process of aging of society, patients with perioperative stroke morbidity and mortality increase. Objective This review will summarize the new advances in periopemtive stroke research in recent year. Content Perioperative stroke is associated with more risk factors. Perioperative use of sensitive monitoring systems can detect stroke as soon as possible. Up to now, there exists no good therapeutic approach of perioperative stroke. Therefore, the prevention of perioperative stroke is essential. Trend To establish the perfect perioperative stroke prevention system still needs further research
