Labor analgesia has become one of important research topics in recent years. Domestic and foreign research on the technology of labor analgesia has been well developed. How to provide better analgesic effect, improve maternal comfort and delivery women′s satisfaction under the premise of safety are continuous pursuing goals of anesthesiologist and demand of delivery women. A large number of clinical scientific researches toward this goal have been proved to be safe and effective, such as selecting an appropriate analgesia method, analgesic drugs and administration mode, as well as development and application of the new type of intelligent analgesic pump and the intervention of human factors in the delivery process that can improve the analgesic effect. In our clinical work, our doctors and nurses use appropriate drugs and methods to ensure the effect of labor analgesia, improve maternal satisfaction with analgesia and help women have safe and comfortable delivery.
