Abstract: Myocardial injury after non‑cardiac surgery (MINS), as a serious complication of the cardiovascular system, is an important cause of postoperative attributable death in patients with non‑cardiac surgery. Recent studies have found that perioperative blood pressure are significantly associated with MINS and perioperative blood pressure management strategies may reduce the incidence of MINS. This review focuses on the recent research advances of MINS and features of perioperative blood pressure, describes the relationship between perioperative blood pressure and MINS, elaborates potential benefits of perioperative blood pressure regulation for reducing MINS and provides a novel basis for perioperative blood pressure management and prevention of MINS. Perioperative individualized blood pressure management strategy may become a new direction to prevent MINS.
