Laryngeal mask airway (LMA) is a supraglottic airway management device with easy operation and little stress response. LMA is used widely in clinical practice, but it can also bring certain complications if used improperly. This article reviewed the incidence, influencing factors and preventive measures of complications associated with LMA ventilation, so as to discuss safe and rational methods for LMA use, guarantee the safety of patients during the perioperative period, and improve the quality of anesthesia.
