In recent years, with nursing and anesthesia quality control indicators have been issued by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China, and the development of anesthesia nursing has been specialized, the study of nursing quality indicators in the anesthesiology department has received increasing attention from domestic nursing scholars. This review introduces the current status of research on anesthesiology nursing job settings and scope of responsibilities, anesthesia nursing quality control indicators at home and abroad, and the content of the anesthesia nursing quality control indicators based on the three‑dimensional quality evaluation model of "Structure‑Process‑Outcome", and puts forward the future research prospect to provide a reference for further research on the development of unified and standardized quality control indicators in the anesthesiology department in the future.
