Hip fracture is very common in elderly patients, which is usually accompanied by multiple complications. And patients who have a hip fracture are at substantial risk of major complications and mortalities. Preoperative evaluation and preparation are very important. The wait time before surgery, preoperative preparation, anesthesia and analgesia management, and rehabilitation program are critical to optimize the perioperative management and improve the prognosis of patients. This article reported an elderly patient with a hip fracture to provide a reference for optimizing the anesthesia and perioperative management of these patients.
