Abstract: Radial artery catheterization is one of the common clinical techniques. It is also an important monitoring method. The special anatomical structure of pediatric artery increases the difficulty of operation. Ultrasound‑guided technology provides great help for radial artery catheterization in children. This paper summarizes the current literature, introduces the application of different ultrasound‑guided methods for radial artery catheterization in children, the related complications and the limitations of ultrasound‑guided techniques for radial artery catheterization in children, and puts forward some thoughts on future development.
