Abstract: Ultrasound‑guided thoracic fascia plane block (TFPB) are a series of regional nerve blocks in different thoracic fascia planes, which is responsible for providing regional nerve blocks and perioperative analgesia during the peri‑operative period. This paper describes the anatomical basis of TFPB, summarizes the anatomical localization, im‑plementation methods, mechanism of actions of several commonly used TFPB and their application in clinical anesthesia and perioperative analgesia, so as to provide new ideas and methods for compound anesthesia and peri‑operative pain management.
