Abstract: The nervous system regulates liver function, and liver diseases can in turn cause neurological dysfunction. Recent research has revealed the intricate relationship between the nervous system and liver, presenting the importance in maintaining homeostasis and regulating various physiological and pathological processes. This review focuses on the interaction between the nervous system and liver. By offering a theoretical basis and new insights for future disease management, we aim to contribute to the understanding of the complex interactions between the liver and nervous system.
