Abstract: Breastfeeding benefits mothers and newborns in the short and long term prognosis, but currently, the breastfeeding rate in our country has not yet reached international standards. With the widely used of neuraxial labor analgesia, its impact on breastfeeding has also been gradually concerned. In this study, we reviewed the effect of neuraxial labor analgesia on breastfeeding and the possible mechanism, also the relevant strategies on breastfeeding promotion, in order to provide guidance for improving breastfeeding in mothers with labor analgesia.
