Remifentanil is an ultra- short-acting opioid receptor agonist, can inhibit the cardiovascular stress response, to maintain hemodynamic stability; and found that the use of remifentanil preconditioning and postconditioning can reduces myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury . This review focuses on its research for myocardial protective effect.
