Background The survival rate of victims surfuring cardiac arrest is constantly unacceptable,and lately a better resuscitation approach named cardiocerebral resuscitation(CCR) has emerged.Purpose CCR is excepted to largely improve the survival rate of victims surfuring cardiac arrest,and this article aims to provide some information of the new CCR.Content The major difference between cardiocerebral resuscitation and cardiacpulmonary resuscitation(CPR) is the resuscitation targets which change from “cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation” to“cardiac and cerebral resuscitation”.Trend CCR may start a new era of cardiac arrest rescue,and is expected to bring significant change to this area.
